“May all that has been reduced to noise in you become music again.”
What is Music Therapy?
Personalized Attention for All Your Needs
Music Therapy is the clinical use of music by a credentialed therapist to encourage, support, and promote improved health in individuals across physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, social and relational domains.
At Awaken Music Therapy, we believe in the power of music and relationship as the foundation to creating healing and lasting change.

She received a Bachelor's of Music Therapy in 2015 through Capilano University, is certified through the Canadian Association of Music Therapy and received a Fellowship of the Association of Music & Imagery, allowing her to use the Bonny Method of Music & Imagery. "My approach to music therapy is based on an understanding of the human condition. As human beings, we all seek to be seen, heard and validated. My work aims to meet this fundamental need through relationship. Upon the foundation of the relationship I form with clients, I then collaborate with the client to create client-centred goals, including social, emotional, physical, mental and spiritual goals."
Personal Life Philosophy: Moment by moment.
